See our Local Programs for the most up-to-date list of areas in which we operate. All residents of these counties are eligible to apply for the program, regardless of income or FICO score.
You must own your home in order to sign up. People who rent their homes aren’t able to take part in the program. Condos, townhomes, and shared-roof dwellings are not eligible for the program at this time.
If you already have solar panels, you won’t be eligible for our solar power and storage program. However, you can purchase a storage battery separately.
The roof has to meet installation requirements to support the solar panels. If the roof needs to be upgraded or if there are any structural issues associated with the roof, the homeowner will need to make the roof improvements in order to sign up for the program. Also, the main utility panel will need to meet installation requirements. The program may be able to assist if main panel upgrades are needed.
Some roof materials are not ideal for solar panels; we will consult with the homeowner to address any issues.
