Electriq Power’s Sustainable Community Networks are expanding to Southern California to reach more communities with affordable solar energy and backup battery storage. Beginning in early 2024, nearly 400,000 residents in 10 Los Angeles municipalities will gain access to home solar and battery storage systems through the PoweredUp Network. For qualifying homeowners, this zero-upfront-cost program can provide reliable backup energy during power outages and lower monthly electric costs, something especially important in a state with some of the highest electric rates in the country.
